Wow. It can't come easy being so misogynistic.
You would really have to work hard on that.

So, so many people are living by these standards. We should give them the floor more often. Wonderful.

Simon Nixon's piece in the current edition of @bylinetimes.bsky.social on Rachel Reeves is very prescient given todays events
Flagging my most recent column for @bylinetimes.bsky.social in which I expressed unfashionable sympathy for Rachel Reeves, whose "misfortune is to be the teller of hard truths in a country only interested in easy answers." If only her party listened to what the markets are saying about Britain

It’s not a fashionable thing to say, but I have quite a lot of sympathy for Rachel Reeves. The Chancellor has endured a torrid first 11 months in office.

Step 1. Announce arbitrary tariffs for each country
Step 2. When markets crash, pause those tariffs and say they're just leverage for deals
Step 3. Promise deals
Step 4. Fail to make deals
Step 5. Announce arbitrary tariffs for each country

...and yes, I find it hard to keep my cool, sometimes.

What The Economist wrote was that the administration "questioned" an ally on why it thought arming Ukraine was wise. Semantically and legally, there's a difference.
