Getting people to care about new music from legacy bands is a big part of my job and there are a lot of reasons that contribute to this issue, but one of the biggies is music journalism/criticism collapsing over the last decade. There just aren’t many places to learn Pearl Jam’s new album is great.
A depressing thing about contemporary culture is that back in the 90s you had loads of 60s/70s acts making big critically acclaimed returns: Bowie, Dylan, Nelson, Young, Emmylou Harris. And yet you struggle to think of any 90s acts doing the same today.

The women's Blood & Guts match tonight was a 10/10 for me. I was thoroughly sports entertained. The men's was solid enough, and I was very happy with the finish, but it just couldn't live up to the women's match.
It also loses a point for another appearance from the Scuffle Puppy, Gabe Kidd.
