The exciting Konami announcement there (other than MGS4, obvs) is the *internally developed* JRPG. No shade at all towards Evil Empire et al but “we farmed this out to Bloobo Team” doesn’t really excite much as a general rule

Dead or Alive was my very first fighting game and it is very near and dear to my heart and I have basically no emotional reaction whatsoever to a Kasumi model fighting a Hayabusa model. You really have to prove you know what you're doing before I'm gonna give a single damn

Finally saw Cook Thief theatrically last night. I historically have ranked it as a “lesser” Greenaway because it isn’t just two hours of actors staring into middle distance monotonically reciting naughty limericks about de Kooning and kumquat but I was really taken by it this time
