IT'S OKAY IF DEMOCRATS CHOOSE A COUPLE OF "WRONG" CANDIDATES
For about 48 hours after we learned the results of Tuesday's elections, mainstream media agenda-setters grudgingly conceded that, yes, okay,...

I know everyone is upset about the deal, but don’t worry. We’ll be doing this again in a month.

Whoa -- Sen. Durbin went to up Leader Thune during the vote last night to tell him that on the shutdown vote and ACA promise that "8 of us are sticking our neck out that you're going to keep your word. I hope you will. He said 'I assure you I will,'" Durbin says just now

Imagine having this as one of your top concerns as a voter, even if it weren't utter bullshit. Don't you people have any real problems?

The deal fully funds the VA, the Department of Agriculture, and—of course—Congress itself. Everyone else? Still left in limbo. The only thing this agreement rescues is Republican credibility, which was on life support after last week’s election losses.

John Fetterman is all over the media promoting his memoir, which will be available tomorrow, but it's stuck at #62,983 on the Amazon bestseller list. That's not much of a silver lining today, but I'll take it.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Absolutely. When Trump is gone, we'll find out he pocketed the money and we're on the hook for the whole cost. And SCOTUS will say he can't be charged with a crime.
We’ve been operating under the assumption that the ballroom is 100% funded by private donors and should get comfortable with that idea that some of that money came from us.
They’re liars and haven’t disclosed who gave what.

And a pre-existing condition was anything the insurer decided it was.
One of the most important provisions of the ACA was eliminating pre-existing conditions exclusions from insurance plans.
Folks need to be reminded that if the ACA goes away, so does that provision.

there was a screenshot that i'm trying to find from today that essentially had Senate Democrats going "yeah we won the election so we waited a couple of days to concede"
Senate Democrats think this is the appropriate response because they begin every conflict with the assumption they will lose, and then ask “How can we end this as quickly as possible while creating the appearance of having tried to win so the base isn’t mad?”
I truly don’t know how you look at the past week and THEN decide THIS is an appropriate — let alone the right — response.
