Q: Are you affirming that you think President Trump is a fascist?

MAMDANI: I've spoken about--

TRUMP: That's okay. You can just say yes. I don't mind.

The thing that's always frustrated the right wing ideologues who've glommed onto Trump is that he doesn't have the attention span to actually be a committed ideological warrior. He can scream all the right culture war shit, but it's just WWE pugilistic showmanship. He basically has no belief system.
Trump frickin' loves this guy lmao

imagine never having to hear hakeem jeffries talk again. he could campaign on that alone.
This is exactly what we need. This is it.

"New York City Council member Chi Ossé, a close ally of Zohran Mamdani, is privately discussing a run against House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.)"
Scoop: Mamdani ally weighs challenging Hakeem Jeffries
Just talking about a potential campaign could drive a further wedge between Mamdani — the democratic socialist in line to be New York's next mayor — and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.)

My dad took me to a benefit concert in 2000 that featured Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley

I kept thinking, "I can't believe the guys who literally invented rock and roll lived long enough to hear Limp Bizkit on the radio"
you ever think about those real weird overlaps. like tennessee williams might have listened to the ramones

I know this. I tell people this all the time.

AND YET... when writing formally I cannot help but re phrasing whole sentences to avoid handing a preposition off the end of a sentence.

Learning rules is hard.

Unlearning is harder.

A very big Onion announcement:

The Onion has spent the last two months working on a masterpiece.

It's a documentary titled Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile.

It's so good, in fact, we were set to release it in theatres nationwide on October 2nd.

Then two weeks ago, Charlie Kirk was shot.

Your health care bill is about to explode.

The notices will start arriving next month.

A $7,000 bill could jump to $24,000.

Democrats are fighting to stop this. Republicans are fighting to guarantee your costs go up.

We need to fix this. Now.

It's funny cuz there's a world where Disney might've said "eat shit" and stripped affiliate rights from Sinclair and used the power of their More Lawyers Than God to absolutely shove it up the FCC's ass and everyone would've been like "damn okay Mickey" and turned mouse ears into the new pussy hats.
Disney has lost nearly $4 Billion in three days from combined stock price collapse and cancelled subscriptions.
