Phoney Kidnapping!
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

A case of show me your budget and I'll show you your priorities
Stock images used in DCC presentation planning PR campaigns to promote active travel and use of cycle lane (left), vs images of actual cycle infrastructure in the city. "Only 36% of respondents felt safe cycling in Dublin City". Hmmm.

All while construction costs skyrocket and services buckle under pressure

This needs to happen very quickly!!

Can't even deliver an internal review on time
Fianna Fáil is bracing itself for a delay in delivering its internal review into its approach to the presidential election.

It was set out last month that the party would carry out a review into its chaotic presidential campaign following the shock departure of candidate Jim Gavin

They'll be blocking our coddle posts next!
Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

First go to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner

Unless there's an unbreakably valid safety reason why not, all button-operated pedestrian crossings should activate the lights in pedestrians' favour instantly when pressed.

Hello it's me the leader of the party full of landlords that has been in power your whole adult life and created the housing crisis we now refuse to resolve.

I'm here to tell you it's actually the foreigners' fault.

Too dangerous for a warden, and so the solution by the council is...... don't do anything to tackle the cause of the danger, ie driver behavior.

In a sane world if the road was too dangerous for a traffic warden it would be closed during school hours
In Chapelizod, parents don high-vis and wait, hopefully, for council to approve a school warden. Requests for a school warden were previously turned down because it was considered too dangerous, said a councillor. In recent times, two other schools have been told the same.
