This morning Rape Crisis Ireland has called for a ban on AI 'nudification' functions which can (and have) produced sexual images of children and adults.

Football Weekly of all places used the term kidnapped instead of captured. Like a fucking football podcast is ahead of most media organisations. We live in the stupidest timelines
Given that almost every news organisation including the ones here in Ireland are using the same terms this obviously has been sent from the top right across the media industry
BBC journalists have been banned from describing the kidnapped Venezuelan leader as having been kidnapped.

The BBC News Editor has sent this to BBC journalists.

Absolutely blows my mind that Americans have this attitude to work / life. That they put up with hardly any annual leave, being in massive debt for health and education, no paid maternity leave. Greatest land in the World though... for employers.
A Dutch worker went viral after explaining to their American boss that they have a life outside work.

Starting off the working year right by getting a smear that I didn’t know was due because I never got the letter because we moved. I’d only gone in to get my meds re prescribed and a blood test.

24 hours ago, journalists were wondering aloud what "deployed decorum to mask agendas of cruelty" could possibly mean
Hard to watch US TV media discussing how the US might occupy and run a foreign country as if it’s a perfectly normal political development.
