the drawing group I used to hang out with years ago seems like it's petered out, no new posts in the discord for months. I'm a little sad, since I made some good friends there and having a weekly time to just draw enabled me to actually make comics

We have the most layoffs in 20 years but it's not a recession, we have Open AI burning 12 billion in a quarter but it's not a bubble.

a game studio will get shut down for having a slightly large burn rate but OpenAI gets to burn through the budgets of....20+ AAA studios? in a single quarter?

Bought a bike that didn't have ignition working and figured it was a bad ground. Turns out the ignition coils were loose and the wiring job was really bad. Good thing I got a flywheel puller to actually check. Replaced the condenser and redid the ignition wire. Maybe it'll run now?

Moped parts arrived. If it all fits the plan is to take the engine from the Bravo I bought and add a 43mm cylinder I just bought, along with a pipe and bigger carb, and stick that on the perpetually almost together Vespa Ciao

Watched a Baywatch Episode. In that episode the A plot was Hulk Hogan and Macho Man wrestling Vader and Ric Flair to save a youth center, and the B Plot was a character getting skin cancer. Baywatch used to be a load bearing pillar of American culture

Oh my GOD I’m so anxious about Seattle’s mayoral election today, Bruce Harrell absolutely CANNOT be let near the levers of power EVER again and Katie Wilson has campaigned on personally improving my most-used bus line (and also rocks on a bunch of other stuff)
