You ever think about how the Roman Senate kept meeting centuries into the reigns of emperors. Hanging out, shooting the shit, giving speeches, and play-acting that their positions of privilege remained positions of power.

Trump is trying to force US oil companies to rebuild Venezuelan oil fields that are too expensive to invest in at current crude prices while a full blown energy revolution is happening with cheap solar and electrification growing exponentially.

At a Jazz Bar sitting at the tables before the show. Love how i can tell who the musicians are bc its a room full of decently dressed folks sipping drinks and casually munching dainty snacks then two 50 yo men in fedoras and vests absolutely housing a plate full of burgers and fries.

Like! Yes, it was hard! Being arrested and publicly shamed by my nco’s in front of my peers was hard. having to explain to my family why I was being discharged was hard. I couldn’t get use gi bill or get all the benefits ect for a long time. It sucked. I also don’t have the ptsd my fam have now tho!

lol as someone who made a similar decision in 2001, and have successfully made the military change my discharge status from code 3 to 1 after being kicked out for refusing to follow orders I am telling you that this is not an informed take you can literally fight legally… you still have rights 😭
Do ya'll think about the consequences of those military members if they do disobey orders even if it is illegal? Like yeah we'll cheer them on for doing the right thing but the consequences that'll hit them would devastate them for life.
And THIS is why I don't respect all members of the military cuz they go do shit like this without ever thinking of the harm it puts them and others in.
