I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.

I’m constantly astounded at the sheer level of artistic production coming out of Iceland. Novels, movies, music. Amazing.

Think I could have got past the weird vibe, costumes etc and butchering of the story if the two leads had been decent Robbie spends the first half of the movie looking like a Bavarian barmaid while elordi looks like he was on blanket in the h block.

I have watched many of his documentaries over the years but I’ll never forget how I was at MOMA in NYC and they were showing Boxing Gym as part of an exhibition and I just sat down to watch for a bit and didn’t get up again for 90 minutes.
