I'll settle on your better knowledge of the issue so
February 11, 2026 at 11:22 PM
and that's my secondary issue. They are incapable of delivering on basically everything but they've gotten this over the line?
February 11, 2026 at 11:13 PM
Well my primary issue would be most people don't have money to save.
You certainly know more than I about this and in principle it sounds fine but I don't think a hot button issue for most people
February 11, 2026 at 11:13 PM
Ah I can already see the appeal to the common person.
February 11, 2026 at 11:02 PM
Really, I generally pay attention to these sort of things and it's the first I've ever seen of it. I don't recall it during the GE campaign at all.

Does any remember anyone asking for this during the last general election?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Does the hotness remain after baldness? Like is 2009 Paul O'Connell hot but 2019 isn't?

One of the ways I know there's no God is that a _British_ person can use the word 'colonised' like this and not immediately got vaporised.

I'm the kind of person who likes to think the governments should maintain a list of who owns property. Handy for dealing with property tax, vacancies, dereliction etc. In fact they've several such registers

Most Americans don't realise how crap their voting system is. Gerrymandering, voter surpression and hour long queues. Western democracies don't operate like this.
Mike Johnson: "Americans need an ID to drive, to open a bank account, to buy cold medicine, to file govt assistance, even to attend the DNC. So why would voting be any different? They can't answer that question."
