Judicial Reviews have been adding years on to public transport infrastructure projects which often end up in pay-offs

All while construction costs skyrocket and services buckle under pressure

This needs to happen very quickly!!

Objectors will be on the hook to pay six-figure legal costs under judicial reviews clampdown
Objectors will have to foot six-figure legal bills for successful judicial review cases in a new move being brought to the Cabinet to speed up the supply of infrastructure and housing.

It’s another exciting day as Luas Finglas has just been granted planning permission 🎉🥳🎊

The conditions also require stronger consideration for protected junctions and safer cycling along the entire route as well

Another huge step for Dublin’s public transport network

I'm so fucking sick of the constant delays that are announced without apology like they'll be 5 minutes late for pints.
Constant delays without a single person being held responsible just new timeline and back to BAU

The new battery operated trains will be delayed by almost a year, pushing it out until 2027

Capacity is an ongoing issue on Dart / Commuter rail services, so this is a big problem

Buried at the back of an article - current Director of the Irish Car Park Association; David Cullen admits they were wrong about the #TransportPlan

“We’ve been embarrassed to say we got it wrong… some of our car parks are busier than ever”

Somebody might want to tell the Assistant Secretary at the Dept of Transport, that Primary Legislation was passed last year

Minister for State Sean Canney can make 30kph the Default today if he wanted…

Apparently Councillors should be able to park where they want, when they want, for as long as they want… provided they’re on “official business” according to Naas Mayor; Cllr Seamie Moore

“There is no back-pedalling on 30kph urban speed limits” - Minister Sean Canney

If that was true, then it would have been implemented already; the same way that 80->60 was earlier this year

Please join us at 10:30 outside the Dail this morning to demand safer Urban road speeds

CALL YOUR PUBLIC REPRESENTATIVES!!!

Budget 2026 will likely see fare increases or reductions in vital public services because of Government shortsightedness

Do not let them roll back the progress that was achieved during the last term

Unfortunately the scenes shown on tonight’s Primetime Investigates are far too common

The Governments plan for a dedicated transport security unit requires Primary Legislation & won’t be quick to implement

We have another meeting with the Dept about this in the coming weeks

Very convenient how it also means their illegal car parking spots remain available

On Oct 2nd, along with other transport & road safety groups, we’ll be presenting at the Oireachtas, calling for @Love30 to be introduced Nationally

If you’re in a car that’s stuck in traffic this morning, remember it’s not the bike & bus lanes that’s causing the congestion you’re stuck in…. It’s all the cars 🚙 🚗

Safe and efficient transport infrastructure will help the people in those cars choose another option

The blatant denialism around the work already completed for the Herbert road junction is beyond frustrating

The N11/M11 bill is over €3m on design & consultation so far

If the Tanaiste would like to “see the detailed work”, he could just Google it:
