I do want to note three things that have happened in the wake of what ACIP is becoming to hopefully put some panicked nerves at ease.

1.) The American Association of Pediatrics is publishing their own schedule that matches the one before this goat rodeo.

2.) Insurance companies have said that they will continue to cover vaccines covered in the schedule in 1 - you will just need to be more active with your pediatrician to make sure that they're working with you.

3.) Blue states are not meaningfully changing vaccine requirements for schooling.

cool that the official position of the administration appears to be that black people don’t really count as americans
"The Donald Trump administration has changed which holidays qualify for free entrance to national parks, removing two holidays celebrating Black people and adding the president’s birthday."
National parks change prioritizes Trump birthday over days honoring Black people
Free entrance days at national parks no longer include MLK Day and Juneteenth.

Unfortunately the funny factor of metroid prime 4 shot up 10 fold when I realized a central mechanic involves Samus touching her fingers to her head to do literally any major action like I'm going to fucking INTJ mental blast my way through every problem in this game.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

I wrote this for the @nytimes.com: Scammers are calling seniors more than 50 times a day. Some who get scammed wind up with weird charges on their Medicare and mysterious packages on their porches

I'm devastated by what the field has lost in terms of pandemic prevention research and infrastructure, but even more for the (to date, 60+) PhD students and postdocs on the project, many of whom face an immediate funding cliff at the end of the year. NSF had the funds for them and just didn't pay /3

the next admin should do what obama did with for profit colleges to the online gambling industry. just stomp on them with the regulatory power of the state until they run out of money.

dude was so all about the metaverse that he renamed the whole company, only to burn billions on a venture that anybody with sense knew was destined to fail. it is laughable that he remains in charge. merit simply does not exist
Meta Platforms is planning cuts to the metaverse—an arena Mark Zuckerberg once called the future of the company—and will shift spending to AI wearables.
Meta Plans to Shift Spending Away From the Metaverse
Zuckerberg’s bet on immersive online worlds has lost the company more than $77 billion since 2020.

Sorry, the Dems were supposed to produce a gerrymander just as good that wasn't as racist? And the fact that they didn't proves the gerrymander wasn't that racist? Am I reading that correctly?

The Supreme Court paved the way for a felon to return to the presidency — where, behind the shield of office, that felon has ordered a string of murders.
The boat was split in half. 9 men were dead. 2 more clung to a floating piece of wreckage and tried desperately to flip it over for 41 minutes straight. There was no possible way they were going anywhere.

Then they were killed in cold blood by the U.S. military.

They want us to be appalled, because caring about rules of war and human lives and the law all mark us out as inferior to them in their sick worldview.
They’re killing people as a twitter joke. It’s depraved. Can’t let yourself lose the capacity to be appalled and disgusted and outraged by this.

Fondly remembering how the foundational story of SEAL heroism was told by a survivor found with completely full magazines.
Wow, a seal lying to cover his ass, shocking!
NYTimes adds: "But the video did not show any radios or satellite phones, according to the people familiar with the briefings, and a surveillance plane apparently did not spot any nearby boat."
