Remember: don't eat the mid tier fast food chicken, don't play the wizard game, don't shop at the hobby store run by the bad guys from Indiana Jones, and don't donate to the bigot bucket.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

Wow, this must be one of the most popular things I've ever posted on here, guess I hit upon a sentiment a lot of people were feeling? So, can you do me a favour?

Advocate for the art you love. Talk about it, uplift it, introduce it to others, leave reviews. Let's not just focus on the negative.
Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

One of the strangest aspects of aging that they don't warn you about is watching as history gets rewritten right in front of your face and people 20 years younger than you confidently tell you about something you lived through and get it completely wrong.

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

Delighted to learn who Ben Barres is today (although not delighted that this is why). Extra delighted to look him up on Wikipedia and find such a respectul and thoughtfully-written page, with nary a deadname in sight.
We're disappointed to see Ben Barres's powerful book "The Autobiography of a Transgender Scientist" among the ~400 titles removed from the Naval Academy Library. Needless to say, we're proud to have published his book and will keep it — and his memory — alive.

hey i don’t usually make posts like these but i see a certain comic artist has made their way here, you might know him from his “daily life of a gay couple” comics, but he made this horribly transphobic comic and threw a temper tantrum when people called him out for it a while back, so look out

And FYI, Tanith is the novelist Neil Gaiman has been convincingly accused of extensively plagiarizing at worst, & being "strongly inspired by" at best. So if that dude is understandably ruined for you... why not get That Good Shit from the source, for a change?

Every time she comes up, I remind you all that Pamela Paul killed a pro trans paragraph in a review I wrote for the New York Times, lied about it in the press, then when I confronted her with receipts, said “Let’s keep this to ourselves.”
In which a straight woman highlights a bunch of known anti trans activists and claims there's a divide in the queer community.

It's pure propaganda and gaslighting.

Yeah, this is *bananas*. I think it’s approximately _double_ the usual monthly churn? For subscription service, that’s a sky-is-falling change in metrics. People get fired for .5% increases in churn at that scale.
This is several days old. But amidst so much else id missed it. That’s a stunning number. No wonder they about-faced. Reminder of the power of consumers in oligarch era, not subject to the same kind of targeting.

yeah man, trans reporters, whom the ny times derogatorily calls "trans activists" so that normies won't listen to them, have been reporting on ADF activity in the UK since 2018.

bigotry in journalism makes you late to the story.
Really important NYT investigation finds that the ADF has been working with Reform, 'courting the party since at least 2024' and that the British arm 'orchestrated Mr Farage’s appearance in Congress, reaching out to ask if he would like to give evidence on censorship'
