My favorite thing about Stephen Colbert is that he’s an actual Christian in the true meaning of the word (aspiring to be Christ-like) as opposed to the typical meaning of the word which is a bigot who uses Bible quotes to justify their bigotry.
The Easter Faith Of Stephen Colbert
In an interview last week, Stephen Colbert reminded us that laughter in the midst of loss is the central Christian witness to the resurrection.

Microsoft president Brad Smith acknowledged that the four rounds of layoffs this year are more about using the money saved to fund AI data centers and GPUs than workers being replaced by AI.

I think this is important for the media to get right versus making it seem like ChatGPT can replace a human.

I stayed up late illustrating something for no real reason. I definitely didn't give out a google drive link with a high res version of it among friends and family for printing purposes.

America is beautiful, contradictory, unfinished. I am proud of our country even as we constantly strive to make it better, to protect and deepen our democracy, to fulfill its promise for each and every person who calls it home.

Gotta keep up the kayfabe of WE CARE A LOT while they stole enough of our personal data to build Project 2025’s Cerebro, I guess
CDC leadership just told staff on Monday that they could stop sending their "5 things I did last week" emails. Finally.

Per source, people were mostly just sending the same things every week. Many folks added read receipts and were able to see that no one at DOGE was actually reading the emails.

I’m honestly quite pissed off that I pay all this money in taxes only for the US government to try very hard to destroy my livelihood, my retirement savings and that of my neighbors.

I feel like a Karen. I want to talk to the manager. I want my money back. People need to be fired.

when MLB dropped "diversity" from its career site, I reached out to every team, including those with live DEI pages.

None committed to their current efforts. Almost nobody responded!

One week before Jackie Robinson Day, my take on the leaguewide silence:

Most MLB teams have DEI programs. Why won’t any commit to them or talk about it? | Opinion
In the Trump era, when even Jackie Robinson is at risk, the sport is quiet about diversity efforts it used to tout. | Opinion
