News @wiswell.bsky.social could use.
Today we went to the tiny speed boat race track where they were having women's wrestling in the concrete lot out back. The speed boats were so small. The girls were so strong. Good Sunday.

You have to use fire or acid, otherwise they grow back and get back up.

(use the nuclear block, it does fire damage)
that's right. and how do we deal with trolls, folks?
they're getting on this website because they're running out of gas and understand that the juiciest segment of libs now exist on a platform that isn't owned by one of their oligarch allies. when faced with increasing uncertainty of their own power, all they understand is theatrics and the spectacle.

@dynamicsymmetry.bsky.social On a lighter note, Infinity Nikki is the third thing I've downloaded to the new laptop, after Firefox and LibreOffice.

@tkingfisher.com If you have an opportunity to visit the Mercer Museum while you're in Doylestown, it is a fascinating place set up by a guy obsessed with the tools people used to use in their homes and work. Everything from oil lamps to a whaling dory.

Paging @tkingfisher.com for reading material during one of the inevitable travel delays.
This is going to be important reading!

The link between chicken farming and rural women finally getting electricity in their homes is wild.
Given my ongoing feud with PGE I greatly enjoyed this read about electricity coops.

@gillianlynndaniels.bsky.social A little art for your Thursday.
"The Silence Mill", a golem for a Castlevania-type thing I've been working at, on and off. Drawn today because, I don't know. 2025, I guess.

Just over one month until THE LOST RELIQUARY comes out! 😱 But you can read an excerpt *right now* over at @reactormag

We're excited to share an excerpt from @lyndsayely.bsky.social's The Lost Reliquary!

Why are story titles randomly popping into my thoughts with no plot, characters, or theme attached? Brain, that's just rude.

@dynamicsymmetry.bsky.social While not for the usual reasons, this reminder to Not Fuck Around With The Ocean seemed thematically you.
I’m at the shore this week and since it always bears repeating: Do Not Fuck Around With the Ocean. Do not do knucklehead stuff in the goddamn Atlantic which is full of riptides that want to kill you. I don’t care if you’re a strong swimmer, if you aren’t used to swimming in the ocean, no you’re not

@gillianlynndaniels.bsky.social A short art thread for you.
Listen I gave them 10 prompts to choose from! 10 prompts! It’s not MY fault that they all voted to draw the 2 horniest ones* first!!

It’s not MY fault they all chose “Sea Monster Swimsuit Calendar” and “Grittys with Titties” first!!

Working with contract terms leads to occasionally noticing loopholes elsewhere. The National Park Service prohibits bicycles, rollerblades, and skateboards on Big Kill Devil Hill. They are silent with regards to traditional roller skates.

@lyndsayely.bsky.social Potentially of interest.
African developers make a game where African characters steal back actual artefacts that are actually kept in Western museums and private collections while teaching you about the artefacts. This looks awesome.
Relooted on Steam
Reclaim real African artifacts from Western museums in this Africanfuturist heist game. Recruit crew members, plan escape routes, acquire the precious cargo, and bounce out of the joint as fast as you...

The number of sheep featured on the bank note corresponded to its value in pounds.
