I think about this every g-ddamn day.
Astonishing to stop and realize that, at any given moment, bands of masked men armed to the teeth are storming churches and daycares, terrorizing entire communities—and that most of the country's political establishment barely blinks.

This video puts to words some of the feelings I've had about modern movies/cgi/digital film but haven't been able to enunciate, but moreover nails a problem in modern art making: the lack of real, tactile experiences reflected in the work youtu.be/tvwPKBXEOKE?...

Still wild to me that Trump pointed in a woman’s face and said “Quiet, Piggy!” and literally no one who witnessed it was like “Whoa, there bro” either because they didn’t care or they weren’t surprised, or both.

I watched Legend (1985) last weekend & now I can’t stop thinking about it. I will never forgive people way older than me for letting it flop at the box office. What do you mean I’ll never know if Tim Curry’s character comes back or not?

For when the #AI bubble does indeed pop, and the US government does indeed provide a massive taxpayer bailout of the tech giants inflating it.

A bailout that will be provided while millions of Americans are still being denied basic #healthcare and enough food to eat.
AOC: Should this AI bubble pop, we should not be entertaining a bailout of these corporations while healthcare is being denied to Americans and SNAP is being denied to Americans —

When I was homeless in 2019, the Salvation Army shelter refused to give me a bed (even though they were available), because I was on immunosuppressant meds and they didn’t want to be responsible or liable if I got more sick or died on premises. They’d rather I die on the street.
It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

Broadview’s “free speech” curfew starts soon, at 6pm.

When I was growing up I didn’t think it was unusual for adult men to be attracted to teen girls because I was myself a teen girl growing up in the hellscape of 90s/2000s America, BUT it really put things into perspective when I got into my 20s-30s & saw everyone under me as a literal fucking child
