Trump naming everything after himself is cartoonishly corrupt and North Korea level creepy, and 100% of it has to be undone in January 2029.

Today I joined patriots at the Kennedy Center to make clear that Trump’s desecration of the Center will not stand. It’s not a matter of whether, but of when, his name will come down. We will not allow him to despoil what belongs to the American people.

3. Leadership is about doing what is necessary, not just what is popular. Read literally anything our founders wrote about virtue, and the inherent risks to a society based on democratic processes to sustain the rule of law to the extent that unvirtuous people gain power.

Letting the 1/6 guy act like a king: bad?
Schiff: "Part of this is a consequence I think frankly of Chief Justice Roberts giving the president absolute immunity when it comes to his instructions to the DOJ. He can pretty much order them to do what he wants and know that he will never be held criminally liable."

Ellisons (who just bought Paramount), Kushner, and Gulf tyrants have also been trying to buy Warner Bros, and Trump said he’s going to meddle in regulatory approval for competing bids

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition
Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

Not sure what current law says but no federal property should ever be named or branded for the INCUMBENT president without the explicit approval of Congress.

Next Democratic President better have few hundred executive orders ready for the first 100 days to undo every illegal nonsense associated with this regime.
Anyone who won’t commit to taking Trump’s branding off the Kennedy Center, Institute of Peace, F-47, etc has no business leading the Democratic Party in 2028.

The White House says the Kennedy Center board vote was “unanimous”…

BULLSHIT.

@repbeatty.bsky.social, a Congressional member of the board, was on the call. They muted her and didn't let her voice opposition.

This is beyond absurd, totally illegal, and a disgrace to the memory and legacy of JFK.

"I have not lost control of the House"

- Speaker Mike Johnson, in a press gaggle off the House floor a few minutes ago
FOUR REPUBLICANS just signed the House Democratic discharge petition to force a House vote on the Hakeem Jeffries bill to extend health care tax credits for 3 years: Brian Fitzpatrick (PA), Mike Lawler (NY), Rob Bresnahan (PA), and Ryan Mackenzie (PA). Gives it the required 218 signatures. Huge news
