I guess the sarcasm wasn’t obvious enough. Sigh.
February 13, 2026 at 11:43 PM
Sarcasm is truly one of the victims of the last year.
Why? Bannon and Epstein (and everyone in Epsteins circle) were hard core Zionists. Pope Francis often critical of Israel and many Catholics believe Zionism is antithetical to Christ’s teachings. #gaza #econsky
Stunned that Bannon and Epstein conspired with conservative Catholic orgs to try to bring down Pope Francis.

Sarcasm is dead I guess.

Epstein files reveal ties to Catholic conservatives' anti-Francis campaign
VATICAN CITY (RNS) — The newly released Epstein files show that Jeffrey Epstein and Steve Bannon discussed opposition to Pope Francis, including a move that Bannon claimed would ‘take down Francis.’

145k eviction filings/year and this is only for 5 core counties of 29 Atlanta metro.

15% of renter households receive
one or more eviction notices each year.

One of the most housing-insecure metros in US.

Yet state policymakers have done almost nothing for decades about weak tenant protections.
NEW DATA: Landlords have filed nearly 145,000 evictions in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

This is the highest volume among all cities and states we track.

…and given the effects of housing instability and evictions on children and families, there is likely a link
between metro Atlanta high ranking on eviction rates and on its 50/50
ranking among large metros on economic mobility. Atlanta folks keep saying they’re doing something about latter, but 🦗🦗🦗

When politicians like Pat Hynes take tens of thousands of dollars from MAGA, and even more from property tax lawyers who profit when your taxes go up, it tells you everything you need to know: He’s not on your side.

Astounding. Georgia is expected to lose $2.5 BILLION in tax revenue due to tax exemptions for *DATA CENTERS* in FY 2026. This corporate subsidy alone is about *7 TIMES* the cumulative FY26 tax expenditures for the state's principal affordable housing program (really the only significant one). 1/2
