So to sum up the message from these members of Congress:

“We can’t be bothered to exercise our constitutional power to remove the president to protect our military and intelligence personnel from illegal orders, so we will just ask those same patriots to resist on our behalf.”

Inspiring!
We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community.

The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.

Don’t give up the ship.

/6 Also, it is the obligation of every lawyer who takes their oath and the Constitution seriously to shun from legal society every single AUSA and DoJ lawyer participating in this. Strike their names from every book and tablet, every pylon and obelisk, every monument of the rule of law.

Remember: don't eat the mid tier fast food chicken, don't play the wizard game, don't shop at the hobby store run by the bad guys from Indiana Jones, and don't donate to the bigot bucket.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

Several weeks ago I let folks know that if I see you posting or reposting AI slop then I will unfollow and/or mute.

You have had sufficient warning about this.

I will be blocking from now on.
For the love of all that is holy stop using AI to produce slop making fun of Trump. It’s lame as shit and only normalized a technology that’s economically, environmentally, and intellectually destructive.

It’s using fascist tools and thinking you’re fighting fascism. Stop.

True confession time:

I think less of adults who name their pets with human and/or boring names.

To wit, I am currently attempting to lure a stray cat inside whom I have provisionally named:

Ghaelvisbean.

I am very open to luring-related advice.

I need no help generating appropriate names.

I swear we just had this conversation when the Maine oysterguy turned out to be Nazi. It's entirely possible for awful people to stop being awful, but that doesn't mean they are owed the right to power over people or access to their victims, and we're not required to launder their reputations.

Also, expecting the people she has harmed to forgive her when she has NOT changed her behavior towards them and is STILL HARMING THEM WHILE ON THE JOB is a bit much. She has not apologized for her racist or antisemitic behavior. She apologized for her tone. That's it.

It is on Greene, and only Greene, to do the work to become a good person. Also, it is important to note that forgiveness is NOT the same thing as trust. And you can give forgiveness and not give trust.

However, I will not be providing her with either.

A racist changing is not dependent upon having contact with the people they have harmed. It is not dependent on forgiveness from the people they have harmed. It is not on black people to put themselves in harm's way so a bigot can practice being a decent human being. To expect that is highly unfair.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a racist who uses her position of power and her platform to harm people she believes to be from inferior races. I will never forgive her. Luckily, she can change without my forgiveness. If she wanted to. Which she does not.

Okay, below is a response to me about Marjorie Taylor Greene, and while it's lovely that this person wants to give her the benefit of the doubt, I--a person she has harmed--will never do that.
You may be right, but if you leave no room, no possibility for people to change, how do you expect people to change?

So, while I am a SUPERLATIVELY ENTHUSIASTIC supporter of impeaching Donald Trump, I need you all to understand that there are hundreds - if not thousands - of people who must also be barred from office and public life.

No politician who refuses to commit to this will ever get my vote again.

It doesn't really matter that the Texas maps might be dead. Republicans have enough gerrymanders in place for Democrats to go full throttle with theirs.

I mean yeah it sucks we didn't hold out a few more weeks to possibly lose the filibuster, the reason 90% of progressive goals failed over the last 20 years, but did you consider that would have made the Senate's holiday travel plans difficult

I am well versed in American racism and I can tell you that Greene, Mace, and Boebert have neither tired of white supremacy nor the patriarchy and are simply bitter that they are no longer young enough, white enough, attractive enough or useful enough to reap the rewards of Bondi, Noem, and Kirk.
I'd be really curious if someone better versed in feminist theory wrote about what's happening on the right. Because between Greene, Mace, and Bobert, we've got this bloc forming of women who seem tired of serving a patriarchy of sex criminals. And their rhetoric is starting to lean that direction.
Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I was called a traitor by a man that I fought for 6 years for. I gave him my loyalty for free. I've never owed him anything. Let me tell you what a traitor is -- a traitor is an American that serves foreign countries."

Is it a threat to free speech when the President of the United States threatens to yank the broadcast license of a channel whose reporters are asking him challenging questions?

I ask because I feel like there used to be tons of pundits worried about free speech. Where'd they go?
Trump in response to an Epstein question: "ABC, your company, your crappy company is one of the perpetrators. I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, a chairman, who should take a look at that."
