It doesn't matter who you think I am, Representative. And, again: I am not trying to change your mind.

I am just trying to live this life I love. I am working to ensure that other trans and nonbinary folks can live a life they love, too.

I know who I am. I love being trans. I am whole.

I did not get involved in the politics of the Saint Paul mayoral race. I respect both candidates and their efforts to better our city.

Now that we have results, I just want to say congratulations to mayor elect @kaohlyforstp. Kaohly and her team ran an incredible campaign, in only 90 days.

I can’t vote in Minneapolis.
But if I could, I would vote for DeWayne Davis.
The polls are officially open, Minneapolis!

Today you can choose a different course for our city. You can choose a mayor who cares as much about your city and your neighbors as I know you do.

We deserve better, Minneapolis. Rank me first when you vote today so we can do better – together.

I love that this article opens with the ambivalence of Zack Stephenson. I expect many many voters will share his ambivalence about guv candidate Lisa Demuth.
MinnPost reporter Matthew Blake dives into what Demuth's campaign could signal for next year's legislative session. Demuth’s run marks the first time in recent history that a state legislative leader has campaigned against a sitting governor: www.minnpost.com/state-govern...

there is no hierarchy of citizenship.

there are only citizens. All citizens are imbued with the same legal protections and rights in the U.S.

Some citizens born, some citizens are naturalized, both are fully and equally citizens.

the end.

really excellent piece by @shoeleatherkate.bsky.social.

and a reminder that queer liberation is always the side of justice in this world. those who would see us erased and eradicated are always, always, always not.

Don't listen to the GOP.
DFL is building a state that WORKS.
Just this year, Minnesota has ranked:

A top 10 state for safety.

A top 5 state to live in.

A top 3 state for jobs.

A top 3 state to retire.

The 2nd best state to raise a family.

The 2nd best state for children.

A bet against Minnesota is a bad bet.

we know this is a lie.
she knows that it is a lie.
the media knows that it is a lie.

if we don't acknowledge that it is a lie at least amongst ourselves, then their nihilistic fascism becomes complete.
Kristi Noem: "No American citizens have been arrested or detained. We focus on those who are here illegally. And anything you would hear or report that would be different than that is simply not true and false reporting."

this is not to say the threat is not real and urgent. It absolutely is. we must be prepared for the outcomes Trump seeks. But we are still not powerless. We are never powerless. And in Minnesota we will fight like hell to protect what we have built.

Stay safe keep fighting.

I know that laws, and other such annoyances, are no longer of concern to the federal government.
but isn't this just....murder?
"Well, I don't think we're gonna necessarily ask for a declaration of war. I think we're just gonna kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. Okay? We're gonna kill them. You know, they're gonna be, like, dead. Okay? Yeah."

Trump has abandoned even the pretext of following the law.
