Quick reminder: We were so spoiled to have Cal and Kyndra on the call back when they did all of the Loons games.
The hill I will die on is that Cal is the best play-by-play commentator of our generation.
He does this on the fly. I asked him once if he brainstormed these maxims ahead of time. He insisted it's extemporaneous and to do otherwise would just come off as insincere.

People are out here blaming RCV for Jacob's win. And I cannot stress this enough: RCV had literally nothing to do with it. Everything about this outcome was entirely predictable. Jacob had huge structural advantages: compliant local media, off-cycle election, PAC $, patronage networks.
