all the media being stenographers for the feds and just repeating the drawdown nonsense should go to the whipple building today so they can see the same amount of masked men leaving in convoys of vehicles, and whatever this is too, and report accurately what’s happening on the ground in minnesota
So this is weird. The National Guard is staging at the Whipple building this morning. This is what you do when preparing for a mission.

Finance will finally be destroyed once and for all once we build things again in this country. As the data center buildout has shown, it’s easy to access capital without involving financiers.

So, the folks detained at Whipple are largely being released. Their phones, wallets, and often their winter clothes are confiscated. They are dumped out the front gate with nothing.

Haven Watch is standing there and welcomes them back.

This is all due to the incredible resistance of the people of Minnesota.

Their resilience - and their determination - helped enforce the Constitution in a way that political elites in Congress and the courts did not or could not.

I have never been prouder to be a Minnesotan.

In the Twin Cities, churches have become lifelines for their immigrant congregants. As immigrant families hide at home, their pastors and fellow church-goers bring them groceries and gather money to pay their rent. I wrote about it:
Minnesota churches provide critical supports as immigrants hide at home • Minnesota Reformer
It’s a natural extension of churches’ spiritual worldview — backed by scripture — that compels believers to help the vulnerable.

Pro bono work is way, way, way up. Lawyers who have not historically been much involved in pro bono are motivated to protect our community.

Especially high appreciation for all who are teaching themselves immigration law on the fly.
I don’t really know what I expect in posting this, but maybe some people see it and can learn from it.

I’ll call it “lessons from an unwilling immigration attorney.”

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

In a potentially ominous sign for Minnesota Republicans, Trump's approval in the Twin Cities suburbs — the battleground for both the Legislature and statewide races — is low.

In the suburbs, 65% said they disapprove of Trump’s handling of his job.

Daily reminder: There are still patrols. They are still taking people.

They smashed into a car near me and just took the driver after demanding papers from everyone.

This is not over. It is still ethnic cleansing.
