This has never been about fraud or terrorism, their goal is denaturalize and deport as many as possible.

They want a whiter country.

Thanksgiving is next week, but too many families are worried about not being able to put food on the table. These are resources in Minneapolis for those who need it.

Today is Give to the Max Day. If you are able to donate to a local food shelf, I encourage you to do so! 💜

"Groups of kids, groups of East African kids that are coming from surrounding communities and not just one community, kind of all over the place," O'Hara told WCCO.

Excuse me? Blaming and targeting the East African community is disgraceful.

It's not that Mamdani is some kind of saint. He's ambitious, looking to make a mark.

But nothing's wrong with ambition if you are also committed to humanity. I know some great politicians, like @erinmayequade.bsky.social and @zaynabmmohamed.bsky.social, who aim high but do so for the best reasons.
Everyone's got their takes, and mine is surely no better than any others, but nonetheless:

If you want to take one thing away from the Mamdani victory, I think it should be this: support candidates who genuinely care about people and about their wellbeing.

As Day of the Dead winds down, I am hopeful that those who are celebrating have had a chance to reconnect with lost loved ones and have enjoyed the company of family and friends. 💜🕯️

Senator Kunesh and I found friends in Woodbury: First Lady Gwen Walz, Majority Leader Erin Murphy, and Senator Zaynab Mohamed.

We door knocked and found very friendly Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger supporters.

We’re officially in the third week of a government shutdown, and federal workers continue to have to show up to work every day without pay.

@emmagreenman.bsky.social, @aurinmpls.bsky.social and I are calling on Republicans to return to DC, negotiate with Democrats, and end this shutdown.

I love geeking out with @katiejonesmpls.bsky.social on clean energy!

On this bipartisan panel we discussed the role of renewable energy sources like solar and nuclear power, and how we can move forward a 100% renewable energy future by 2040.

Hate and antisemitism have no place in our city. We should all be free to practice whatever religion we please, without fear or intimidation.

Today, I was honored to join my colleagues in renaming the 10th Ave bridge as the Minnesota Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic Memorial Bridge.

Sen. Dziedzic demonstrated how to lead with courage and how to deliver for Minnesotans. This bridge is a monument to her service.

I’m proud that my speed camera pilot program is now being implemented.

This will protect Minnesotans by reducing reckless driving and speeding.

These cameras will capture the license plates of speeding drivers and the city will mail a ticket to their home. So, drive carefully!

We need an assault weapons ban in Minnesota. 60% of Americans support it, and Minnesotans want to get it done.

Call your State Senator. Call your State Representative. It’s up to us to come together and make it clear that this has to be the top priority. We CAN do this.

I’m looking forward to continuing this work and pushing for real change in Minnesota, because no one should live in fear of gun violence.
