Every year around this time until Christmas, I have weird urges to go to Catholic Church. I hated church growing up, and have never had an inkling of faith in a god, but I sorta feel like there might be some comfort to be had.

There’s something deeply, but perhaps unfortunately, comforting about knowing a brand and being a loyal customer. Every year around this time I order the same model work boots from Keen, knowing they’ll last much more than a year through daily abuse.

After 10+ years in New York, I just had my first chopped cheese, with cilantro and spicy mayo, and it was immediately one of the better sandwiches I’ve ever had
