Why do journalists have no apparent solidarity whatsoever? This rancid POS jabs his finger in a woman reporter's face and calls her "piggy" and none of the other journalists there says a word?
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

as a reporter, the part of this that i’ve simply never understood is how the next person to ask a question when he does something like this doesn’t simply repeat the question that set him off. it’s not just solidarity with your colleague, it’s an important question that remains worth asking
I’m not going to pretend it’s easy to say something in the moment when you witness the president do this and you’re aboard Air Force One with all the uniformed officers and secret service and fancy wood accents, but this is really an instance where you should. people.com/donald-trump...

The stage for this was set when we let the torture brigade off scott free, when we let the architects of the Iraq War go on to lucrative gigs, when we bailed out the architects of the financial crisis. The elites believe there are no consequences to their actions because ... there aren't.
The legal profession needs to realize it failed and has to get better.

Coup plotters, Constitution-ignorers, rationalizers, enablers, the Supreme Court's calvinball rulings — all yours.

Your culture said move slowly, give benefit of the doubt, even treat it like a game. Far from all, but enough.

Julie nails the problem here. The press lets him get away with this shit all the time, showing zero support for each other. It's what has allowed him and the White House to just lie and insult people with impunity. Shame on all of them. This is absurd.
I just watched the whole video, and not a single reporter stood up for her. Everyone just pivoted to asking questions on other topics.

This is shameful.

Well, if only there were a large supply of foreign students who would happily pay a premium price to get access to American higher education.
"'There simply aren’t enough students to go around,' said Nathan Grawe, an economist at Carleton College in Minnesota. But the effects of the demographic cliff, he noted, 'won’t be evenly distributed.'"

OK, this is wild.

In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them.

It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*.

What the HELL?
