Phase in Christmas music during November, sure. One song in four would be ideal, but even every other song would be acceptable. Dumping full-on aural glucose on us all at once is giving me the bends.

Me, taking my mom to Costco today in the late afternoon for her hearing aids, and then walking around the packed megastore while she hunted for "peanut butter and those huge blueberries," and then waiting in a checkout line that stretched into the aisles.

Oh, and did I mention the parking lot?...

#Writers have you ever tried backwards editing? Either by chapter, scene or (gulp) sentence? Would you recommend it, if so? Cheers.

This could've been written by Shakespeare. I'm not kidding. These ideas are 500+ years old (with whatever witchcraft of the time doing the work of "the internet").
The political assassins of our age are disgruntled plotters and fanatics whose hazy motives seem patched together by personal grievances, mental illness, and solipsistic internet quests. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/6C5wPY
The Mystery of the Political Assassin
Even in cases like Luigi Mangione’s, the intentions of assassins are dwarfed by the meanings we project onto them.

Wait until she adds riparian entertainment or a finger buffet to one of her candlelight suppers.
"I have never been a candle person. Open flames indoors don’t relax me," our Wirecutter reviewer writes. Until she found these candles. "Candlelit meals have shaken us out of our rut and added an element of calming ritual to our gatherings."
These Candles Made Me a Candle Person. Now I Eat My Cheerios by Candlelight.
Burning tapered candles can add a touch of elegance to any meal, even breakfast.

Signal Boost to help a lovely person. 🫶
Hey guys. I really hate having to do this but I really want to get an apartment. So I’m sharing my gofundme. I’m getting in trouble with the shelter for taking unscheduled shifts at work. I may have to make excuses in the future to not fill in for people on my days off.
