It’s really weird that Emerald Fennell basically ignored the book’s description of Heathcliff but still cast a Pakistani British actor (Shazad Latif, who actually would’ve been great) as Edgar.

I have decided the upcoming Wuthering Heights film is trash. Not only is Heathcliff whitewashed (FUCKING AGAIN ITS 2026) Edgar Linton in played by Shazad Latif (a British Pakistani actor who would have been 100x more appropriate for Heathcliff) and is shown as the villain. Like Emerald, WTF???
