So we've got this problem (see below), and numerous folks have kindly bought book bundles to help us deal with it—and it'd be really useful if some more people did the same. If you can grab a bundle, or reskeet this for others' attention, it'd be great. Thanks very much (in advance) for your help! 😊
Friends, we're having an unfortunate backed-up rent situation here, so may I point folks at this offer? 36 DRM-free #ebooks for USD 39.99! If you can grab one of these (or repost the offer for others), we'd much appreciate it. Thanks! (Not valid in the UK, sorry.) ebooks.direct/products/ebo...

I've been on a found footage / mockumentary horror kick and it just occurred to me, I almost never hear anyone talking about Phoenix Forgotten. Maybe it just hit well with me because it hits on my specific fears and interests, but I think the ending is just spectacular. www.imdb.com/title/tt6574...

Eyes on systems.

Eyes on enablers.

Eyes on who benefits from problems and difficulties, and how.

Eyes on how things that suck got to be the way they are.

Eyes on who talks about individual solutions only.

Very few things are one person's fault.

Delightful. Reminiscent of those great Red Stripe Ambassador commercials.
Jim billed Purina $1,500 for the costs of building Rowlf (and a sidekick named Baskerville) then shot seven quick commercials for the company in 1962 and 1963. /3

Oh hi I fact checked this book and it’s absolutely fucking fascinating. I learned *so much* and I understand our world of propaganda and how we got here so much better now. You should read it!!

I stumbled across this after one too many law enforcement fanfic thrillers. I needed something truer to my own experiences & fears. This was a delight for me to read. Be kind to yourself when reading there are triggers pulled from start to finish.
I've somehow not sold a single copy of my domestic thriller The Silent Places on Amazon in six weeks, which clearly means I don't talk about it nearly enough. Standalones are tricky to sell, especially outside one's usual genres, but I'm tremendously proud of this book. www.amazon.com/dp/B08K5Z11LJ/

as an immigrant, this whole "you rely on us" thing is so fucking annoying, putting it in the mildest terms possible. why do I need to serve you dutifully in some capacity to have the right to live in peace with my family, can we try maybe not looking at people as transactional utilities instead?

I dont answer questions am I free to go?
Teaching my kid a nursery song: "I don't answer questions, am I free to go? I don't answer questions, am I free to go? Case law says you have five minutes but this is going pretty slow, so I don't answer questions, am I free to go?"

It won't work ironically because of racism. White women are routinely stereotyped as weak, but Black women are stereotyped as oxen. Hence the not your mule hashtag ( lifted from the Zora Neale Hurston book)
For my sins, I read this column.

It’s not really about virtue per se, but a call for Trump and his campaign to exercise message discipline by calling Harris unfit for the presidency due to “weakness” over and over again.
