ASKING OUR REPRESENTATIVES TO ACTUALLY REPRESENT US IS NOT FIGHTING IT’S JUST ASKING YOU TO DO THE FUCKING JOB WE PAY YOU FOR
But there are real dangers out there that must be fought; and energy spent fighting each other is energy lost to that bigger fight.

Commercial AI has a serious problem in that they try to design it for being a "a safe, pleasant, and endlessly available conversational partner" and thats one of the flaws that makes it hallucinate more. Its hedging and unwillingness to upset anyone is causing it to lie.

This is your 18567th daily reminder to run Windows 11 using a local account, not a Microsoft Account, if you want to avoid this garbage.
Microsoft shouldn't be doing it regardless, but that's the most expedient solution as far as I can tell.

On Monday 04.11.2025 I uninstalled Microsoft Copilot from one of my test PCs with Windows 11. After restarting that PC on that same day, it REINSTALLED ITSELF again. Listen Microsoft - when I uninstall something from my PC it means I do not want it. Trash tier OS with this stuff.

Do you know how hard it is to politically radicalize someone who joined a website to reply with the cry laughing emoji to the Trix cereal rabbit?
People are mad at Democrats over on Threads. Do you understand? THREADS.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

While I don’t ride or die for Pete Buttigieg, the vitriol directed at him is completely insane.
“When I was younger I wished that I could have taken a pill to turn me straight; but I have accepted and embraced my identity now” is an *extremely* common sentiment from Millennial and older gay people!

When Pete Buttigieg says he would take medicine that makes gay men straight. What do you think is Mr. Buttigieg's attitude towards gays, men and medicine?

One streamer reportedly began reading character dialogue out loud in an exaggerated voice so grating, it can only be described as the sounds of Hell to anyone unfortunate enough to be within earshot.

I do not think this person understands the extent to which I actually agree with them on this, nor do I think they care to understand it
i mean, at minimum, you'd expect to pull those models down until you can figure out what's causing that and stop it.
it's almost as if the sudden rise and dominance of LLM shit, with zero consideration of its repercussions, is part of the reason why folks hate it!

Really enjoyed how many static shots there were in Pluribus. Not that I’m fundamentally a partisan in either direction but one of my least favorite tics of modern television is the “everything must always be moving” mindset

I've said it before: everything giant pandas do makes more sense if you imagine they are six drinks in on a Friday night.
But I feel like we haven't fully celebrated their triumphant return. See, the giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) is no longer Endangered.
A conservation success story!

Alt: a panda bear is sitting on a wooden platform with toys, it barrels through them, falls, and manages to roll down every part of the stairs, as if on purpose. Just agent of chaos behavior.
