If it will take three years to replace Amazon Web Services, why not use to budget to GET ON WITH IT? You think that young, patriotic techies wouldn’t jump at the chance to secure Canada against the US? We needed moonshots. Instead, we got tax incentives.

I've gotta find some not-invasive way to get my phone to adjust the ring volume based on whether I'm inside or outside. As it is I seem to get to choose between missing calls when I'm outside or being given a heart attack by my phone when I'm inside.

Out of budget lockup. I recently wrote: "Ottawa imposes a 10 percent luxury tax on yachts... yet a family buying a semi in Scarborough pays the equivalent of 15 percent in [DCs] and land transfer taxes."
Today the gov't addressed this by eliminating the luxury tax on yachts.

I don't like Ford for many, many reasons but if 🍊 is such a thin-skinned baby that he'll scuttle trade negotiations over a inoffensive TV ad then there was no point to negotiations in the first place. 🍊 would have found some other excuse for a tantrum if the ad hadn't run.
