The fever swamp brain disease the Canadian Ostrich Convoyard posse suffer from is as contagious as the bird flu that resulted in the cull of the Ostrich they named after Charlie Kirk.
For months, I’ve been following a Canadian ostrich farm ordered to cull its flock after a bird flu outbreak. It was a cause célèbre for MAHA activists, a MAGA billionaire, and, of course, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The trucker convoy with birds ended last night. They lost. www.msnbc.com/news/news-an...
Why the conspiratorial right rallied around a flock of ostriches
The anti-vaccine, anti-government crusade to save "the miracle cure birds" is over — and the fringe activists lost.

Doug Ford is unaware the Chunnel is for trains, not cars, because the latter would have been bananas.

"If they can tunnel under the English Channel, if they can tunnel through mountains and every other place, we sure the heck can tunnel along the 401. We'll do it safely, and we'll do it properly."

To be fair, @mark-carney.bsky.social is well connected with the private jet and yacht crowd so why wouldn't he toss them a tax cut.

The amount of Ontario taxpayer Skills Development Fund cash sloshing over the gunwales to Doug Ford's friends & donors is astonishing but not surprising.

The only surprising thing is that Therme (purveyor of taxpayer funded private waterfront spas squatting on public parkland) isn't on the list.

rude and dismissive is far too polite treatment for fascists.
CNN: If Canada moves away from the US, more towards China in terms of a trading relationship, is that good for the US?

KEVIN HASSETT: What is good for the US is getting Canada to start to adhere to their previous agreements and to follow the rule of law ... they've been rude and dismissive

Execrable people slamming the door behind themselves because they are small minded misanthropes who think they live in a small village and are entitled to make life worse for everyone else. And the city councillors who pander to them.
These miserable misanthropes moved to a neighbourhood with grandfathered retail and then have the audacity to say it and not they are out of place.

Let's be clear: Doug Ford & his band of merrie drivers have no intention of taking any measures that would slow or calm traffic. They want to be able to speed with impunity in their huge vehicles & things that would impede them will not be permitted (btw u can't build new roundabouts in urban areas)
NEW: The Ford government's speed camera ban will receive Royal Assent on Monday, just 2 weeks after it was introduced.

Temporary signs will be introduced, but physical changes like roundabouts won't be in place when the cameras are banned. #OnPoli
