The same could happen later; suddenly, Polish soldiers could be stationed on the Oder River, forced to attack Germany, even though they may not want to. That's exactly what Russia is doing.

That's exactly what the future might look like. We think Russia is running out of tanks and money, and after a potential Ukrainian capitulation, the Russians will be able to force current Ukrainian soldiers into "meat attacks" on NATO countries.

Påstanden i videoen var i øvrigt falsk.

Spot on! But Europe is moving too slowly.

I’m sure we will put a commitment to work on this in some European council statement.

Or better still: call for more analytical work on Europes dependencies:)
This is Solvay locking in demand from US magnets plant & source material from Uk firm and huge howl towards the EU that if it doesn't do bankable contracts and more risk-sharing for separation to metal to magnet then future scale will also go to US.

There ARE many things EU can do to stave this off

Rather than protecting the rare earths capacity it already has, Europe is being extorted into sending the production process over to the US for *seemingly no reason*. So that it can be rare-earths-dependent on both China *and* US.

This continent is absolutely determined to dig its own grave.

Denmark buys Swedish. Smart.

Now we just need to get rid of those pesky overpriced F35s and buy Swedish Gripens with Rolls Royce engines instead.
With the increased focus on Actic defense, that makes perfect sense. The Gripen can operate there much easier than the F35.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine showed Europeans that they cannot take their security for granted or rely on others for critical functions. Yet the European Union is doing exactly that by allowing itself to fall behind in the new space race.

Our leaders only want to talk about Russia. When it comes to disinformation, the EU's biggest threat is the one who cannot be named.
Can the EU's new Democracy Shield protect Europe from America?
It appears MAGA has successfully intimidated the Commission into defanging its new anti-disinformation tool proposed today.

Russian recruitment remains high. Some regions have lowered recruitment bonuses, but this is likely because they have "over recruited" until now and thus focus on balance on the budget. Not indicative of excess financial strain.

Well said. 100% agree!
The reason the EU gets pushed around by the US and China is this: Russian shadow fleet oil tankers operate with impunity in the Baltic, keeping Putin's war machine running. If you want to be feared and respected, you have to confront the challenge right in front of you. Nothing else really matters.
