For sure. In the rest of the post (that's only half of it!) and her replies, it's clear she thinks that focusing on the social emotional stuff keeps down the "unique gifts" of boys.

The thing you gotta understand about everything Katie writes is that it is a finely tuned, compound dogwhistle designed to provoke a certain set of reactions on left, right, and center. If her kid learns this particular skill from her, he'll be set for life regardless of his shape rotation skills.
I think the belief by the powerful that "people will put up with many things if you are excellent at math" is incredibly revealing in terms of understanding How We Got Here

The thing you gotta understand about everything Katie writes is that it is a finely tuned, compound dogwhistle designed to provoke a certain set of reactions on left, right, and center. If her kid learns this particular skill from her, he'll be set for life regardless of his shape rotation skills.
If commercial flights stick to Class E airspace, they can just do their thing and understaffed ARTCCs don't have to worry about clearing them from sector to sector.
I don't get why this would be done. It certainly doesn't help ATC because they'd be responsible for alerting/deviating for all the VFR flights at those levels instead of up in the high routes where it's all IFR on pre-determined routes.

i guess whatever ends up happening i very much appreciate the way that so much of what comes out of this campaign offers a positive depiction of what politics can offer to a community instead of just grim attack stuff and fear

It's true that Dem politicians have no ability to force message discipline on randos on the Internet, nor should they. If they want to avoid being defined by those randos, they have to be genuine and specific about what they believe. Many would prefer not to, because inevitably that results in...
dem problem is often just that politicians will say one thing (“no one will touch your guns”) but dem-aligned media will print “wouldn’t it be nice if we got all of them out of circulation” and dems on social media “yeah boi take them all away!”

I wish Ezra had provided the evidence that the Democratic Party has moved “sharply left” on this laundry list of issues. To take one example, they pitched the IRA as a climate bill but also as a way of rebooting manufacturing, particularly in red states. And how have they moved left on “guns”?
