what's worse is public health experts have said there's ALSO multiple new terrible variants of flu going around. and idk if people realize you can also develop long term complications from a bad flu. people here don't take illness seriously.
Almost everyone I know is sick right now.

They’ve got a “bad flu” or a “nasty stomach bug”.

Almost no one will utter the word Covid.

It’s not too late to start wearing a mask.

It’s a great way to practice community care while keeping yourself healthy.

Ideally an N95 or better!

it's still always just so strange and odd to see people discuss covid like it was a shared memory from 20 years ago, and not a very recent, still-ongoing pandemic that many people are still trying to fight daily. it's just such a bizarre cultural framing. idk why i'm still surprised but i always am.

Still raising funds. Please support as you are able. I’ve donated to each of these this week and for some I am a monthly supporter. Please join me.
Today I will try to raise some funds for places and initiatives I support and that need continual support. It was my birthday on Tuesday but I was traveling all day.

I’ll add to the list throughout the day.
