Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

Krissy and I stopped giving each other holiday gifts a long time ago because a) it became difficult to think of things either of us wanted, b) when we do think of things, we give them then rather than waiting for the holidays. I also tell people not to get me gifts because I buy myself what I want.
You kid but, for the first time in almost 30 years of marriage, I have no good ideas for her. Guess we’ll see if “you don’t have to get me anything,” is a euphemism or not. (I have gotten her a bunch of books which will be welcomed but no quirky just for you gift)

Much as I will always love "Take On Me," ever iconic for a reason, this followup single 1) should have been bigger over than it was, even as this helped fully cement their imperial phase elsewhere 2) was bought by me at the time on 12" and said 12" mix is still a total fucking banger. Happy 40th.
