Seven transgender patients—all under age of 19—have sued Trump over his anti-trans healthcare order.

Their compliant outlines *multiple* ways the EOs break federal law & violate the Constitution. Story here, and thread:

grind the government to a halt

stop voting for any nominees, object to every unanimous consent, do a rotating talking filibuster on the senate floor going over the transformation of the United States into Elon Musk and Donald Trump’s personal fiefdom

act like what’s happening is happening
Tonight Donald Trump fired dozens of prosecutors at the DC U.S. Attorney's office and agents at the FBI.

Another Friday Night Massacre, as the President removes those loyal to the constitution.

And installs those loyal to him.

Marginalized Students: Do not trust teachers. Period.

Teachers: If a marginalized student comes to you with something, notify them IMMEDIATELY, of WHAT you are required to report and to WHO. Have a stack of pamphlets from local orgs where a hypothetical student with the same issue CAN get help.
Marginalized Students: do not trust your teachers with your status or your gender unless you are absolutely positive that you can trust them to help or protect you or that they are vetted by other marginalized students. Teachers may mean well but their executive bosses may not be.

Every safety regulation was written in blood, frequently with a body count higher than one, and it’s not political to put the blame on people who want to “move fast and break things” when they start breaking human lives.

A white woman recently took to TikTok in shock after being fired.

She expressed surprise, believing perhaps that DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) hires were exclusively people of color.

However, a lesser-known fact is that white women are the largest demographic of DEI hires in the U.S.

3 shots today: COVID booster, flu, and the pneumococcal vaccine because I’ve hit that magical age. My arms maybe sore but FLOW (2024) was a gorgeous piece of animation that deserved every award it’s taken so far. Highly recommend, especially if you love animation or animal movies.

As the transgender community continues to fight for civil rights in the U.S., one of the most common arguments against progress is that transgender people are a recent phenomenon.

But it’s a fight that’s been happening here for decades and around the world for centuries. ⤵️

if you’re cis, don’t offer trans people meaningless platitudes. instead:
- pay for someone’s HRT
- help a trans person find employment and housing
- donate to local trans organizations
- contact your reps and demand non-compliance with policies targeting trans people
- *listen* to us

people who have never experienced inconvenience in their lives will accuse you of fear-mongering and hysteria when you describe the world as it is for people who aren't them. this is because they are fundamentally incapable of imagining that anyone else's experience is different from theirs.
