We are saddened to learn of the passing of legendary actor Robert Duvall at the age of 95.
The Oscar winner’s career included roles in ‘The Godfather’, ‘Apocalypse Now’, & ‘The Apostle’.
He also starred as the title role in George Lucas’ directorial debut ‘THX 1138’.

I used to think “Nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans” was just right wing fans, but clearly not. 5 years ago The Mandalorian was beloved by everyone, “saved Star Wars,” but after ONE meh season (I thought it was ok) everyone is rooting for the movie to fail. (Snyderbros still worse tho)

I’m glad Jon & Dave have both made a noticeable effort to reclaim the “action figures” talking point from the segment of the punditry class that only wields it as a vague insult. This has never been a bad thing, and it’s extremely telling when someone tries to undercut the work by saying it. (1/5) 🧵
