So my daughter is the face of a nationwide Congressional PSA on teenage mental health that launched today. She was chosen based on her advocacy stemming from our @imagecomics.com comic, A HAUNTED GIRL (co-created by her, me, & @marcolorenzana.bsky.social)!

Aging like a fine wine.
This quote is from a piece that’s 8 years old now.
Thinking about that time I got quoted in the National Review about Bari Weiss

I'm much quicker to block than I used to be. I'm not sure if it's a good thing. But my patience for trolls is at an all time low.

Something similarly horrific happened to my great uncle, my paternal grandfather's youngest brother. He died horribly as he and his two brothers danced around a bonfire playing cowboys. His costume caught fire. He was just three years old.
Dec. 25, 1925: Elizabeth Beck is burned to death trying to play Santa Claus for her young son. She uses a stove at the family’s East Cleveland home to heat adhesive tape for the fake beard, but the flames ignite her costume.

This is not a “duel,” which suggests both sides are equally culpable, but the latest salvo in the Trump administration’s ideological war on Harvard and higher education.

This is catching on way more than on IG and Twitter.
In case we get more than the annual, dozen people, we ask that you be patient with the staff members working today.
And bringing them a hot tea wouldn't hurt!
In NYC there are plenty of people who don't celebrate, and people who do, who dont have anywhere to go.
So as is our tradition, Anyone Comics in BK and Everyone Comics at Queensboro Plaza will be there to entertain from 12-5pm and handing out free books for those who feel left out!

We caught up with one of the kids who sang on 'A Charlie Brown Christmas.' He's 72 now

This Christmas, I have just one wish for you:
Take a moment to really see the older people in your life.
Let them know they’re loved, valued, and never invisible.
Share a smile with an elder you don’t know.
Offer a warm holiday greeting.
Small gestures carry enormous power.
Love,

The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased.

Appeasement only feeds their insatiable hunger for power.

Tyrants prey on people who feel unsafe and vulnerable.

But without mass submission, a tyrant is powerless.

Remember this.

One CBS staffer tells me: "She really has no idea how insulting she comes across."

A fuckton of problems would be solved if Americans travelled more.
You know how Americans are surprised to learn that gun deaths are rare in most other countries, pedestrian-centered cities are normal, or everybody else uses metric? That, but discovering that the rest of the world moved to EVs.
It's funny how us parochial Americans generally seem to perceive that the EV revolution is stalling or reversing when in fact it's accelerating rapidly worldwide. 25% of cars sold globally in 2025 were EVs!

It's mostly just the US that's being left behind
