miss fisher's murder mysteries had such a satisfying ending: a perfect combination of "they all lived happily ever after" and "the adventure continues!" (the movie undid a bit of that, though it was still enjoyable in a very knowingly fanservice-y way.)
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:
