Do ya'll think about the consequences of those military members if they do disobey orders even if it is illegal? Like yeah we'll cheer them on for doing the right thing but the consequences that'll hit them would devastate them for life.
And THIS is why I don't respect all members of the military cuz they go do shit like this without ever thinking of the harm it puts them and others in.

"either this thing is a crime or you have to be totally fine with it" is such a silly straw man for any number of reasons, not least of which is that as a prison abolitionist, I don't feel like incarceration is a good solution to things I DO think are crimes!

even though I haven't done a whole lot of writing for public consumption this year, I'm really happy with how much journalling I've been doing, especially these last few months - I'd fallen out of the habit of writing just to write, and getting back into it has been helpful in all kinds of ways
