So we just got done watching the original Star Wars trilogy with the 7-y.o. tonight, and it occurred to me that C3PO and to an extent R2D2 are basically the LLM-enabled robots we're all hating on these days.
As an idea idea we loved them, but as a possible future we hate them.

It's more that they are trying to sell LLMs as R2 and 3PO when they are not at all like R2 and 3PO.
