Ok, stay with me here MAGA folks but if cutting the tariffs reduces prices, what does that mean the tariffs did when Trump first added them

Sarah McBride isn't an authentic voice for the trans community because she focused on saving transition care for the needy instead of important trans issues like backing my favorite Middle Eastern war criminals against their sworn rivals, slightly different Middle Eastern war criminals.

didn't get to see the northern lights tonight because i'm surrounded by skyscrapers in the middle of a major city and also, more importantly, don't own a car

An easy thing to do besides wishing for primaries is to make sure the right people win open primaries.

Regardless of what they all said, the DSCC's picks (confirmed OR rumored) for the US Senate races in Michigan, Minnesota, and Texas cannot be trusted to not back Schumer up.

Support them below:

Unlike all the savvy Schumer-haters on this site, I think I'll wait to see if this actually happens rather than take a Republican PR Firm's word for it.

i’m actually glad folks like talia aren’t part of the mass movement to oppose authoritarianism because their participation would make it an “i hate america” movement like republicans have been saying. people like this are a cancer to resistance movements

Picturing decisive moments in history but with AJ Pierzynski leaning in to tell someone to bunt.

Before Gaugamela:
Parmenion - “I would accept the terms the Persians offer, if I were Alexander”

Alexander - “I would too, if I were Parmenion”

Pierzynski - “I would bunt here, if I were batting”

It’s terrifying what we are witnessing in El Fashir. The UAE backed RSF encircling the city to starve and exterminate people, while the so-called intl. community treats the UAE as a peace broker.

don't mind me, just blocking everyone blaming this vanity run on the party itself
Uh, no. Nope. Just no.
Rahm Emanuel, former Democratic congressman, White House chief of staff, and Chicago mayor has plenty of government experience to tout as he appears increasingly serious about running for president www.wsj.com/politics/pol... via @WSJ
Rahm Emanuel, Weighing Presidential Bid, Navigates a Democratic Party Moving Left
The party long-timer takes a stage in Iowa to test the political waters, leaving behind past criticism of Democrats as he looks and sounds like a candidate.

Seeing a lot of “so disappointed in Fetterman.”

There are only 2 ways to be disappointed in Fetterman:

One, you didn’t know about this incident, despite some of us shouting ourselves hoarse about it.

Two, you thought this act of violent racism was no big deal.

Fetterman's gun incident rattles Black Democrats in Pa. Senate race
The incident took center stage in the race last week when John Fetterman’s two Democratic opponents excoriated him over his actions in 2013 and for his refusal to apologize.

The way the mainstream media is treating Charlie Kirk’s bigotry is the way a highly dysfunctional family treats racist crazy pedo grandpa. “Oh come on, that’s just how he is, he doesn’t mean It, that doesn’t count.”
Hi @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social, we're friendly, we've been on each other's shows. We both agree Kirk's murder is horrific. Q: was Kirk "practicing politics in exactly the right way" when he called for me to be deported because he didn't like my Covid views on MSNBC?

yet another case where comparing political reporting to sports reporting is unfair to sports reporting because sports reporters actually have beliefs
This guy got fired from his sports reporting job for THIS post. This is easily, easily the most censorious period in my life. You can get sent to detention camps by the government for writing an op-ed or fired from your job for THIS type of post.

“The CDC you knew is over,” the infectious diseases doctor told The Advocate. “Unless someone takes radical action, there is nothing there that can be salvaged.”

Rural whites voted for a society where members have no reciprocal duties towards one another. We voted for a society where members accept a set of reciprocal duties towards others. It's weird how mad ppl get when I say that they should get the society they want and we should get the one we want
