"But don't call me a fascist supporter!"
This is now the most important thing in America: Democrats must lose completely.
They brought this on themselves. They forced this on all of us.

I do worry that some normie voters might blame Dems. Bc a lot of voters are big dummies.
I'm fine calling for Schumer's ouster. He sucks.
But if we say Dems are the responsible for all problems and yell it constantly to the world like the GOP does, voters WILL believe it.

Being pissed is fine. It’s good. Saying that Democrats are the ones who took health care subsidies away is a vicious fucking lie that is meant to demotivate people, to republicans’ benefit, and you know it.

Schumer didn't negotiate this and voted against it and released a statement against it and is reported to have tried to push the eight who voted for it to not do so.
But other than all of that, I guess this is totally Schumer's fault somehow.

Schumer allows a provision to go into the supposedly “clean” CR to allow people like Ted Cruz to file lawsuits for money over Jack Smith’s J6 investigation. Amazing Dem leadership in the senate. Thanks Chuck!

Few people know that Gordon Lightfoot's nickname was "The Witch of November."
Fun fact: Gordon Lightfoot wrote the song first, and then sank the Edmund Fitzgerald himself in what has come to be recognized as one of the first viral marketing stunts

this is the thing every one of the 8 are taking huge amounts of heat and yet none of their offices have leaked "oh Schumer totally gave us a pass, please be mad at him not me!" because he didn't, because sometimes you just can't force Senators to do what you want.

The President wouldn't last five minutes as an air traffic controller, and after everything they've been through - and the way this administration has treated them from Day One - he has no business shitting on them now.

I wonder how generalizing this concept that "if anyone does anything a leader doesn't want, the leader is a failure" to literally any other position might work.
"Hey Bob, you manage this time and Joe over there is getting fired for excessive absences. This is your fault, so we're shitcanning you."

Or maybe the reflection should be upon why people might think six of the SCOTUS Justices are so brazenly corrupt and uncaring about things like precedent and actual law that they would believe this.
But that would require media to acknowledge that SCOTUS is no longer a functioning institution.

This is not a surprise to anyone who was closely following this case. It *ought* to be, however, a moment to reflect upon the responsibility (or not) of media outlets that, deliberately or not, led folks to believe that a grant was a serious possibility (which it never was).

There are two reasons people do this:
1. Hating Dems is "cool" and "hip" and the way to show that you're totally savvy and part of the in-group; and
2. It's just kind of assumed that the torches and pitchforks are already out for Republicans, so why actually bother to take them out?
Both are dumb

Exactly this. People are too quick to get out the torches and pitchforks for Dems and not quick enough for Republicans l.
I’ll reserve judgment after I see how things shake out. After all, y’all were ready to burn Ketanji Brown Jackson at the stake just a couple of days ago.

8 Democrats out of a total federal caucus of 260 Democrats voted for something that won't pass the House, with the main goal of feeding people and ensuring federal workers are paid.
We can argue about whether they should have done this (I think not, myself), but:
