Broader than any particular criticism of just one or two leaders of a fake party which is essentially not real, I think it is a shame that there is not a meaningfully constitutional strain of liberalism and leftism. It is bad that nobody takes seriously the current legal order & need for overhaul.

It seems Not Great that the bureaucracies in charge of California’s streets at ~every level of government are lawless rogue agencies that are not subject to any real public oversight.
LA quietly stopped repaving all streets last July to avoid fulfilling its ADA obligations. The federal govt says when you repave a street, you have to update all the curb ramps. LA has tons of out of date curb ramps, so the rule makes repaving much more expensive. The city's solution: stop repaving!

I haven't read it, BUT the affordability argument is as much a tool to depress Republican turnout then it is to do persuasion. Is there a 10 point gap in voters who care about it? Maybe, but as long as they do not vote Republican I don't care at all

Obviously this is not a defense of Greene, but it's clear that the secret sauce of Trump 2 is death threats and it's good when people who are receiving them start talking about it. That's the only way we get through this time.
