I regret not getting the opportunity to know Dan better- we recently connected bc he was to write ab our ep where the Simpsons visit Philly, &he reminded me that we had actually crossed paths in HS! His passing is a tremendous loss. I dedicate the episode to him.

We saw this in Chicago, too. Destruction of property is the highest criminal offense in the mind of the law and order class. Unless it’s being done to extrajudicially kidnap a brown guy who is highly likely to be a US citizen and highly unlikely to be an actual criminal.
This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
