TA: hey this psych paper did not answer any part of the assignment, doesn't have proper citations, and needlessly attacked your classmates.

Turning Point: this is discrimination!

I regret every joke I’ve made about how our elected officials were so old they didn’t know how to use a computer. I would give anything for another administration that doesn’t know how to use a computer

It rocks that it took the White House a year to figure out that driving up people’s healthcare spending for no reason by roughly 18million percent would be something they’d have to address politically

This is so insidious.
Exxon is using the First Amendment to shield itself from scrutiny and regulation, experts say.

The oil giant & others have also claimed that lawsuits across the country accusing them of misleading the public about climate change violate their free speech rights.

Exxon uses free speech argument to fight climate laws
It’s not the first time the oil giant has tried to ward off accountability using the First Amendment.

In a massive backlash against MAGA fascism, Democrats have now swept school board elections in Pennsylvania, Texas and Ohio and defeating all terrorist Moms For Liberty candidates in the process. Much more of this please, we have a democracy to rescue. 💙👊

Wondering how people think Jimmy's non-profit balances the ethics (and impact) of building a temporary theme park in a country known for forced labor and slavery?
fear factor tortured poor people on live tv so that mr beast could buy a creepy warehouse, fill it with cheap bouncy slides, and call it a theme park

Your daily reminder that the fossil fuel industry is propped up by billions of dollars in U.S. government subsidies and a multimillion dollar campaign to spread climate disinformation. 💵

THIS IS BIG

For non-academics who might not understand why:
1. Sen. Warren is still a Harvard professor so this is a call coming from inside the house
2. As a tenured law prof, Warren knows it is a VERY big deal from a labor standpoint to call on Harvard to ignore tenure. The bar for this is HIGH.
Per CNN, Elizabeth Warren is calling on Harvard to cut ties with Larry Summers after Jeffrey Epstein's emails released last week by House Dems featured Summers making sexist comments + asking for Epstein’s romantic advice.

Interesting take to say we don't leave in this bleak of a reality and the examples are poor people can't access proper flu medication and some people turn to sex work because of an elite ruling class controlling so many jobs.

In case anyone is confused those things are 100% happening now.

Trump did incite the Jan 6 riot. He literally told his supporters the election was stolen and called them to the Capitol. They brought weapons and killed Capitol police officers...

Why is everyone bending over backwards to make sure this man's feelings are hurt?

Disney has hiked prices and laid off hundreds of workers this year.

Yet Disney paid its CEO $41B in 2024. It just reported a 36% increase in net profits for parks and streaming. And it plans to double stock buybacks next year.

Remember this as Disney turns to AI.
Bob Iger says Disney+ will soon have AI-generated short form content from users

Just went to watch an ABC news video on YouTube only to be bombarded with a Keep My Networks title slide.

Disney is playing everyone like a fiddle and they should not be allowed to pull networks because they want Hulu Live to be more popular than YouTube TV.

Regular people will lose.

"Democrats will never fully support disabled people because disability is the antithesis of capitalism. It requires we take a step back from always making a profit when it comes to the lives of people who can produce no profit outside of extraction from our for-profit healthcare system."
