MIKE JOHNSON: We had some discussion on that yesterday. I don't know the latest developments.

Don't sleep on the way that Trump/Vought have systematically eliminated US defenses against cyberattacks, including -- here -- on critical infrastructure.
New: The recent layoffs in CISA's Stakeholder Engagement Division have virtually shuttered SED, eliminating teams focused on critical infrastructure support, nationwide partnerships, and international coordination.

Q: How comfortable are you w/Trump seeking $230m from the DOJ?

Donald Trump is reportedly demanding that the DOJ pay him $230 million in damages related to the criminal cases it brought against him in 2023.

This is a particularly outrageous government ethics issue—even for Trump. Let’s break it down 🧵

But it gets worse. According to the New York Times, the DOJ does not “require a public announcement of settlements made for administrative claims before they become lawsuits.”

That means the DOJ could pay Trump $230 million in complete secrecy.
