Toni effortlessly emasculating Mox, and him not being able to retort in any way because he respects her is absolutely fucking perfect character work from everyone involved.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t about fair representation, it’s about silencing Black, brown, and working-class voices. But KC knows how to fight back. We will not be erased. I’m here to stand with you, to defend our voice, and to say that our democracy belongs to the people, not the politicians.

If you're 60, 69.1% of all job growth since your birth occurred under Democratic administrations.

If you're 45, that number is 74.7%.

If you're under 28, the number is 100%.

Happy Labor Day.

If this map passes, it should be challenged in state court as a partisan gerrymander in violation of the Missouri Constitution's guarantee that "all elections ... be free and open[.]" Missouri Republicans are making a VERY clear record of their unconstitutional intent. Make them defend it in court.
GOP Gov. Mike Kehoe just called a special session of the Missouri legislature to start on Wednesday. He also released a new congressional map aimed at gerrymandering the Dem-held #MO05 so that Republicans can flip it.

CDC staff walkout. When asked why not stay and fight, the answer was, "I did for months." They tried, and now they make a much larger statement by walking out. This is the courage we need from all of our leaders right now.

This is a hell of a letter. “The intentional eroding of trust in low-risk vaccines…will bring us to a pre-vaccine era where only the strong will survive and many if not all will suffer….Eugenics plays prominently in the rhetoric being generated…”
Full resignation letter from Demetre C. Daskalakis, a CDC leader, does not hold back.
"The recent shooting at CDC is not why I am resigning. My grandfather, who I am named after, stood up to fascist forces in Greece and lost his life doing so. I am resigning to make him and his legacy proud."
