Thinking more and more about how much certain actors are pushing us towards a post-truth, post-data world, a world driven purely by narratives and vibes

It's not good.
Tom Wilson practising on PP1 with the Capitals right now, so sure looks like he’s back. Been out for eight games. Caps in Vancouver to play Canucks tonight.

Really wish the asshole Europeans would understand that this isn’t the U.S. starting an imperial expansion.

This is an eviscerated shell of a U.S. government being used as a weapon by *international* tech oligarchs to end traditional, democratic nations and replace them with a tech-run dystopia.

The Demko (re)injury and the Sherwood trade are really just in keeping with the long throughline of Canucks history.

1991-1995 and 2001 to 2012 are the exceptions, not the rule, of this sorry franchise

Canucks: Sherwood traded, Demko out (again). A season of symbolism
The Vancouver Canucks' history is filled with bad moments. Losing Kiefer Sherwood is one of them.

Which means they are once again only providing real-time updates on city business to a single website that's under investigation for child exploitation

They've stubbornly defended their approach

"I think we are going through, taking opinions from other resources around the world to see where his status is and what needs to be done or not."

Mark Carney should start saying stuff like "we hope to peacefully de-escalate this situation between our two neighbours, the Americans and Danish. Canadians have long valued our role as sharing land border with two distinct nations." Throw a bone to the Google Earth sickos.

And you’ve got to believe they’d like to add another
#Canucks now have four picks in the first two rounds of this summer's draft. There's a very strong chance the four picks will land in the top 50.

That's a great chance to inject some young talent into this organization.

Good catch by Adam K.

Brisebois got hurt in the off-season, skated in a red jersey in training camp, then had surgery for an undisclosed lower-body issue and remains on season-opening injured reserve.
He wasn't on the ice but Guillaume Brisebois had a locker set up in the #Canucks room today. Brisebois has yet to play this season due to injury.

If we stand aside when others are threatened, we can expect others to do the same when it's our turn over the barrel.
Canada needs to get in on this in a robust way, and show support for Greenland, Denmark, and other northern European allies, for two important reasons: 1) It's the right thing to do. 2) We could very well be next.
Sweden’s Prime Minister, in a new statement on Greenland:

“We will not let ourselves be blackmailed… Sweden is now having intensive discussions with other EU countries, Norway, and the United Kingdom for a coordinated response.”
