Talked to the new PT about goals. I want to walk 3-5 miles without pain on bad pavement. She is confident about being able to rehab the knee enough to “tolerate walking 5 miles.” The difference between pain free and tolerable knee pain is daunting.

Paul Newby doesn’t want the world to know how he responds to reporters.
His talk of “Biblical Justice” runs straight up against Ex 23:1 (“You shall not carry false rumors; you shall not join hands with the guilty to act as a malicious witness. You shall not side with the mighty to do wrong”)

Before the ACA, a lot of people didn’t get formal diagnoses because they were afraid a pre-existing condition would make them uninsurable. Losing the ACA after being out of that closet, is going to be very difficult indeed
Still not getting a cancer screening out of fear of a "pre-existing condition" diagnosis

BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV is set to effectively disband Opus Dei in the coming weeks.

This would be the most sweeping internal reform of his pontificate — and a dramatic continuation of Pope Francis’s legacy.
NEW: Pope Leo Set To Break Up Opus Dei
If Pope Leo does indeed approves a plan that effectively dissolves Opus Dei’s structure, it would be the most significant internal action of his short pontificate to date.

I wonder what it means for children to be “under quarantine” these days? Schools really have a problem with kids missing classes. Is a parent supposed to stay home with the kid, missing work for 3 weeks? Do their siblings go to school, sports, scouts?
